FAME, Musical to Move Back to LHS

Tuesday, January 15, 2019

Due to the Phase Three Renovation Project, Liverpool High School fine arts classes were relocated to the former Wetzel Road Elementary building and many district performing groups had to find alternate locations for their shows. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our students, families, teachers and staff for their patience and understanding during the transition.

Unfortunately, renovation work at LHS was delayed due to bids coming in over budget, which in turn forced the Liverpool Central School District to revise its renovation plans. The district now anticipates that work in the LHS fine arts wing will begin in 2020 and this change means that the LHS Auditorium is available for use by our fine arts department once again. The first event to take place in the auditorium will be the FAME Showcase scheduled for February 2, followed by the LHS Musical on April 4, 5 and 6.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding. We will continue to provide you with updates as more performances are moved back to LHS.

Sincerely,

Dr. Mark F. Potter
Superintendent of Schools
