DDE Hosts Career Fair for Fifth- and Sixth-Graders

Donlin Drive Elementary recently hosted its very first Photo of DDE students checking out a district maintenance vehicle.Career Fair for the school’s fifth- and sixth-graders.

The students had the opportunity to explore careers they are interested in as well as learn more about careers they have not considered. A variety of fields were represented, including police officer, EMT, news reporter/photographer, artist, author, engineer and military.

In addition, representatives from Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES were on hand to speak with students about the career education programs it offers to area high school students.
